How it all began

A fan of mid-century furniture and the proud owner of an Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman that I found at a confinement center.

After bringing the chair home I began scouring the web for any information I could find on the age of my new chair. This was not an easy task, considering I only had one super faded and ripped label on the inside shell of my chair. Also the information I needed was scattered all over the web.

I put this site together to organize the notes I took from my search and to help others better understand their Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman.

If you find any of the information on this site is wrong, unclear or needs citing (yes, its my fault for not capturing url links in my original notes) please let me know.

UPDATE

For those of you that have contacted me in the past, or posted comments. I apologize for not responding. I did not realize how much traffic this little site was getting. I have fixed my email filters and will make sure to get back to any questions with as best of an answer as I can give.
